If you’re looking for that one appetizer that disappears before it even hits the table—this, is it. These Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Bites are everything I love in a holiday appetizer: crispy, creamy, slightly sweet, and effortlessly elegant.

I’ve made these more times than I can count, and they’re always the first thing gone. They’re perfect for holiday parties, cozy gatherings, or even a last-minute get-together when you want something that looks impressive but takes very little effort.

The combination of flaky puff pastry, melty brie, tangy cranberry, crunchy pumpkin seeds, and just a touch of sugar creates the perfect balance of flavors and textures. They bake up beautifully in a muffin pan and come out golden, bubbly, and irresistible.

Trust -makes a double batch. These never last.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • Brie cheese, cut into small cubes or pieces
  • Cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • Granulated sugar, for sprinkling
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Spray a muffin pan generously with cooking spray.
  3. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 12 equal squares.
  4. Gently press one puff pastry square into each muffin cup.
  5. Add a small piece of brie into the center of each pastry.
  6. Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the brie.
  7. Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.
  8. Lightly sprinkle the tops with a little sugar.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.
  10. Let cool slightly, then remove and serve warm.

Tips

  • Don’t overfill—these puff up beautifully in the oven.
  • You can swap pumpkin seeds for pecans or walnuts if you prefer.
  • Best served warm, but still delicious at room temperature.
